We’re on the lookout for excellent interns who have a unique perspective on all things shopping.

We Are
Designed for the iPad, Pickie is a personalized shopping magazine that’s built using your favorite brands, blogs and magazines.  In other words, we are giving magazines and e-commerce a sexy, much-needed makeover.

Pickie is a top 10 app in the Catalogs category of the iPad app store, and is featured by Apple as one of the ‘10 Essential apps’ in the category. We’ve raised money from awesome investors and are a team of six working in Flatiron, NYC.

We Need
Someone who answers yes to all these questions:

• Are you the person your friends come to for fashion advice?
• Are you an uncommonly talented wordsmith?
• Can you craft a beautiful garden using only a monoface typeface and a 5th of Jameson?
• Do you enjoy shopping more than most normal humans?

If you answered yes to these, we’ve got a job for you.

We are looking for editorial interns.  As an editorial intern you will be responsible for writing short, creative editorial pieces, editing editorial pages, and researching trends.  Think editorial content along the lines of your go-to magazines: In Style, Lucky, Vogue, GQ, and Details.  You will be given responsibility & writing assignments from the get-go.  Basically, everything you’d want from a large magazine but with a small and agile startup. Need more convincing? Your face, your words and product picks will be read by thousands and influence many.  

We thought that would catch your attention.  If you’re ready for the spotlight, please include your resume and writing samples with your application.  Bonus points if you maintain a blog.

Editorial intern position:

• Dates & Hours are flexible, but we’ll need you to work at least 10+ hours a week
• The internship is unpaid, however we will buy you lunch anytime you’re in the office
